Westbrook Students battle in prayer for Chaska

Westbrook Students are catching the vision to BLESS their community through outreach initiatives. They have the audacious belief that God will do something special in Chaska. They are not only focused on the four corners of the church, but also the four corners of Chaska. They are dedicated to reaching teens for Christ HERE.

But the students know that the battle for souls is won not only in our outreaches, but in preparation on our knees. For why was it that Christ shed great drops of blood in the Garden of Gethsemane? Was it not that God's will be done? So, we like Christ, wrestled in prayer on October 24th that God's will be done. Students gathered at the Westbrook office and interceded for the participants in our outreach initiatives, the Chaska community and beyond.

We prayed with the belief that God is able to do more than we can ever imagine. We prayed with the faith that God will supply our every need to accomplish His will. We prayed for specific names and places. We prayed that God’s name will be lifted up not only in our lives but in the lives we will be ministering to at the community outreach. October 24th was an unforgettably powerful night that will be repeated with more nights of prayer.

This Thursday, November 29th, we will host our first community outreach at the Chaska Community Center, from 6:30-8 p.m. We have invited teens from the neighborhoods of Riverview Terrace and Carver Ridge Townhomes. Students are also inviting friends and family to this FREE event. This is the day we prayed for. This is the day we will receive what God has given to us in prayer!
