Make a Difference, Like Amy!

Delivering bags of laundry soap, praying with those who would like prayer, and encouraging those down on their luck with a smile is how Amy has made a difference in Carver County for the last few years. Amy is a key partner of Love Inc., which is a ministry that serves in Eastern Carver County . The ministry comes alongside people that need a helping hand.

Representing us here at Westbrook lately, Amy and her colleague, Don Kukowski, have been delivering our goods to local families in need. Don lives in Arizona for several winter months every year, so Amy now needs some help from the rest of us.

If you know Amy, you know she would never say this. She would just keep on delivering the goods and soldier on. But her husband, Randy, let us know of the need. In fact, Randy said that Amy has delivered more stuff than most other churches involved in Love Inc.

If you can help out, email Amy Nelson at anelson2405@comcast.net. Or connect with the church office to get signed up to help out Westbrook and Amy! Another way you can be a part of making a difference in this way is to buy supplies (dish soap, dishwasher soap, dryer sheets or laundry detergent) and bring them to church on Sunday or over to the church office during the week.

People say faith is real when it shows action. In fact, the book of James claims this! Could you put your faith in action in this way?
